Post Treatment Sober Living for the women of The Turning Point Home
We are purchasing a sober-living home for the women who successfully complete our treatment program.
The home will be owned and operated by Turning Point, privately funded and based on the peer-based social model we are all familiar with. It will directly impact the lives of the women who need us most. As a result, women will have a safe place in or near Golden Hill to learn and grow under the supervision of Stephanie and her remarkable and caring staff.
In truth, we’ve never had the resources or the housing to properly meet this need, but this is about to change. We know that the longer women stay under our care the better they do in life. With your help we will provide them the precious time they need, in safety and security, surrounded by love and support, to heal, to learn and to grow.
We need your help to make this happen.
We have initiated a capital campaign to raise approximately $550,000 toward the purchase of a property in Golden Hill. Every contribution matters towards this goal. The safety and security of the women who will live there depend on it.
Our Status
We are well on our way having recently raised and earmarked $222,000 for this purpose!
We continue to seek donations big and small while we make preparations with our mostly volunteer team of board members, consultants, real estate brokers, financiers and attorneys.
Here are some of the ways you can help:
- Major Funding: We are actively seeking individuals and families who believe in what we are doing and have the ability to make major cash, stock or real property donations towards our Next Steps house purchase fund.
- Stay Connected: Attend and support out events. Your involvement and support are essential, give hope to our residents and help us raise the money necessary for sustained funding.
- Give Now via our on-line donation site.
Take Ownership Today!
Your involvement will allow us to keep women safely under our care for as long they need us. Your prayers, loving support and generous donations make The Turning Point Home a joyous, powerful, transformative and life-changing reality.
Together we are changing and indeed saving lives. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you soon.
