Who We Are

Providing Help Since 1970

The Turning Point Home was founded in 1970 by a small group of dedicated individuals who were concerned about the lack of resources in our community for alcoholic women. Since that time over 2,000 women have received help at The Turning Point Home. Our services have evolved and developed over the years with alumnae coming back to attend meetings, participate in our alumnae association, sponsor current residents and serve on the Board of Directors. The same caring, love and support that began in 1970 continues today.

Our Mission

To help alcoholic women achieve long-term sobriety in a safe, supportive, structured, alcohol and drug-free environment, through guidance and education.

Our Philosophy

We place an emphasis on wellness rather than sickness. We believe that a comforting and welcoming setting is crucial to the success of any resident our residentsWith that in mind we have created warm and inviting settings where women heal and long-term recovery begins.
