The Butterfly Banquet
Table Captain Toolkit
Your guide to filling your table with ease and confidence
Welcome, Table Captain!
The 2026 Butterfly Banquet takes place on Sunday, August 16, at The Prado Grand Ballroom in Balboa Park. If you are coming, the Table Captain program is the easiest way to bring your people with you.
Here is how it works: you sign up, you get a personal link, and you share it. Your guests buy their own tickets through your link. You track who is joining from your own dashboard. That is it.
No upfront cost. No obligation to fill every seat. Just a named table, your people, and an afternoon worth celebrating together
Step 1: Sign up
Visit butterfly.turningpointhome.org and choose “Be a Table Captain.” Enter your name, email, and phone number. Give your table a name if you like. No payment is required to get started. You will receive a personal table link and access to your dashboard.
Step 2: Share your link
Copy your link and send it to the people you want at your table. You can share by text, email, or however you stay in touch. When your guests click the link, they purchase their seats directly.
Step 3: Watch your table come together
Your dashboard shows who has joined in real time. You can see how many seats are filled and follow up with anyone who has not responded yet.
